goa bassdrum on mc-505?

Hi,

Does anyone know how to program a decent goa bassdrum on a mc-505?  I'm pretty familiar with this device but a real goa beat... It just won't work. Thanks!

Which populars groups use this kind of instrument ? I'm dreaming but we could ask them   (some french artists ?)

Honestly, I think rare are the popular bands that are using this mc505 in trance ..

is it old or just for beginers ?

i don't own this machine, but I got a mc303 some times ago.. take a tr909 sample, i assume there must be some on the 505, apply some compression, then filter the way you want (in order to cut the high end treble) ... hope this help
