Fairy Tales are short stories where we are exposed to mysterious realms of Fairies, Goblins, Elves, Trolls, Giants and Gnomes. Static Movement aka Shahar Shtrikman has brewed his own recipe of a Fairy Tale, spiced with four different plots to give us his folklore tale.

Shahar Shtrikman is a 27 years old artist, originally from Ukraine and currently living in Israel. With 15 years of experience in music creation Shtrikman has played the piano, studies sound professionally and helped Rock, Jazz and Metal bands to record their albums. His first Psytrance project was Impulser which was more Full-On orientated, which is no longer active these days. Three years ago he started a project together with Jonathan Ramon called Noizepulse where they focus on the night time psychedelics. A year ago Shtrikman has decided to experiment with a Progressive sound and fell in love calling his new project Static Movement.

After two tracks released at Iono, This is Static Movement's first EP, which gives you the opportunity to be introduced to his wide range of storytelling abilities. The story begins with the title of the EP – 'Fairy Tale', filled with euphoric emotional beats that sweep you into the magical universe of enchanted creatures. 'Under Spell' takes you to the darker corners of the tale, sliding to a more Tech-Trance whisper with psychedelic motifs. The next tale will make you drown in sand at the 'Dune' you're standing on since the pumping tune won't leave you any other choice. 'Waves of Light' seals the EP with a deep penetrating melody that makes the proper catharsis every good Fairy Tale closes with.

Timeless are Igal Yakubov, 24 years old from Tel Aviv and Tal Aouday , 25 years old from Mishmar Hanegev. Both of them had separate projects before they joined forces; Yakubov was Vocal Designer and Aouday was Talisman. But then about a year ago, they met each other at SoundCloud when Yakubov was hooked on one of Aouday's tracks and asked him if he could make a remix for it. Like everything in life, nothing seems to be coincidence and so this remix led to their Timeless project, which made them leave their solo project and focus exclusively on their new joint venture. They have released several releases and Run Away EP at their label Digital Nature and now visit Iono for a Journey you won't forget.

Every 'Journey' begins with great enthusiasm, this EP is no exception. With the exhilaration of going to unknown places, 'Journey' stamps your passport and takes you to the Psychedelic borders. Release date September 6th, 2011 Some people say that music is the best therapy; it helps you to deal with anger, depression and anxiety. For Hi Profile aka Tassos Antoniou, this is exactly the case. Against Humanity EP comes as a disappointment musical manifestation of Antoniou's anger towards human race, which destroys nature and continuously fight against each other in endless wars across the globe.

Tassos Antoniou is a 30 years old artist from Athens, Greece. He began his fascination with Psytrance 11 years ago, started a dj career at around 2002, and in the past 2 years released music under the name Hi Profile. He is signed at Phoenix Groove records, where he released his debut album in 2010 – Plugged. This is Antoniou's second appearance at Iono Music, after releasing his excellent EP last year - Don’t forget… we didn’t!

'Against Humanity' is the first and also the theme of the EP. Using a war simulation, with the aid of gun shooting and fighting sounds, we get an intense feeling of awareness that Hi Profile wants the listener to have. He continues with 'Ro-Bo-Tix' where we get an apocalyptic feeling that brings us back to the days of the Terminator, where machines took over the world. But if they do conquer humanity, at least they create a deep haunting soundtrack to match it. Antoniou closes his agenda with a remix he did to another great Greek artist - Aquafeel's aka Vladislav Koumpatidis, of his track 'Gloryland'. Closing with a remix to a track that raises the issue of human cloning, leaves us pondering about the moral aspects human race faces these days.

Every person would love to experience some sort of time travel. If it's Marty McFly in 'Back to the Future', Quinn Mallory in 'Sliders', or the notorious Jean Luc Picard at 'Star trek', the Human, and sometime inhuman race have always wanted to explore the limits of time.  But while these people used technology to stretch the time limits, Space Hypnose, aka Michael Mordehayov, uses technology to create music that might do the same thing.

Space Hypnose, is a 25 years old Israeli guy originally from Azerbaijan, and is a new discovery in the Psytrance frontiers. He started creating music when he was 14 years old and didn’t stop since, not even while he sleeps. Mordehayov has started making Chill-Out and only recently moved to the Progressive Psytrance planet – Great news for us!

Back in Time EP begins with 'Go Back in Time' and demonstrates the whole agenda of Space Hypnose – haunting, melodic tunes that transfer your mind into a different realm. He continues with 'Live my Dreams', swirling our emotional control and letting us dive into the hypnotic base that pulls us to mysterious black holes in space. On/Off is the name of the magnificent debut album of MUTe, aka Roy Sason and Liran Ackerman, which was released in 2009, and also the name of one of the best tracks from this album. E-Clip, aka Marko Radovanovic, is visiting the Iono Music realms, to share a gem from his arsenal. Radovanovic, originates from Belgrade, and despite his young age, 25, he has been creating Psychedelic Trance for almost 10 years now. His instant infatuation with Psytrance has drawn him to be a part of this new world that was revealed to him.

After a year of on and off boiling and stirring the tracks, it was time to set them free.  Press Hold is more Progressive orientated, and yet the rhythm and pace makes us forget these rigid definitions and just flow. This float is a gradual preparation for what comes ahead. Salvia Divinorum is a long journey that represents the harder, more powerful side of E-Clip. This new hybrid of Progressive and Psychedelic is bound to capture your ear, and probably leave an invisible mark that will reappear every time you will search for escapism from reality.

Every few years the human race faces another apocalyptic prophecy. But perhaps the most disturbing one is the one we are approaching at the moment – the year 2012. Prophecies like these raise the inner fears we have from the unknown, from a different being, From Another Planet. However, there is also a good aspect behind all this, we learn to appreciate life, the time we have left and most importantly – amazing music From Another Planet.

In order to import us earthlings this extraterrestrial music, we summoned Helber Gun, aka Jesse Cabrera (Blue Grow) & Ramon Macias (Zonka), who are experts in delivering long distance groovy music. Cabrera and Macias have separately started to create music around the last apocalyptic prophecy - the year 2000, and gathered the proper tools and machinery to be prepared for the upcoming doomsday. At the end of 2010 they joined forces to create the secret weapon that our planet needed, the name code most of you know is Helber Gun.

The current policy from the secret agencies was to release a sign to the people that there is someone who will save us From Another Planet, thus Helber Gun knew, it was time to reveal a small fraction of their abilities. Equipped with top gear, and months of practice, they have released their latest creation, which was disguised with powerful tunes that will camouflage their radioactive potential. Another well-known technique is reshaping Angel Eyes, so when people would hear the new variation from the original Flegma & Nerso, aka Dalibor Delić & Dragan Matić, they would feel the proper grooviness which will shield them from harm. Then, they will use a different method – Land of 2 Suns - which is a revival of Aqualize's, aka Vladislav Koumpatidis & Koinis Anastasios, extremely lethal invention. While we are sleeping, Helber Gun are still out there, in different locations on earth, trying to fight the unknown, with the best weapon known to mankind – excellent music.

People use different kinds of Catalyzers in order to reach happiness, or at least a moment of good mood. Alcohol, illegal substances, sex, shopping, and many other techniques to induce positive feelings of ecstasy. The main problem using those things is the dependency you have in money or other people to be able to obtain them. Sometimes we tend to forget that the most available, effective and easy to purchase substance is underneath our nose – good music.

Dejan Jovanovic, also known as Lyctum, from Belgrade, Serbia, had reached this realization a long time ago, since he first started to create music, around 7 years ago. In his musical career he toyed with another alias named Prospect, which turned to the more Full-Onish realms, but after a few years he reached his nirvana in Progressive Psytrance. In a special edition for the New Year, he joins forces with Iono Music to create a Catalyzer which will give you the proper substance to begin the year with!

We decided to skip the foreplay and go straight to the Catalyzer itself; after all, a new year requires heavy artillery. With pounding beats we inject the ingredient into your veins, the results are immediately recognizable. Your Impulse to dance, jump around and smile, until every muscle in your mouth starts to hurt, will occur spontaneously, without any ability to resist. The end of this momentary trip, is Lyctum's version of Aqualize's Land of 2 Suns, because if there is anything we learned from all this, is that good music is all around us, sometimes we create it and sometimes we reshape it. In the old days, when you wanted to open a door you needed a key. Each door would normally have only one key that fits, and only this key could reveal what's behind it. However, these days we do not need to cling on physical objects to help us open doors, especially when it comes to the Doors of Soul.

Invisible Reality, aka Abramov Shamil and Sorin Igor, from Israel, decided to open the doors of your soul, with their music. However the key that they have developed, is suitable for different kinds of doors, and is in fact morphing and changing constantly. In this particular EP, they have used a different strategy to form their key, and its liquid and chaotic form is tricky to track down.

A new year means new collaborations, and so, Invisible Reality have joined forces with Static Movement, in order to achieve Cybernetic Evolution of the ultimate key. This key is made of penetrating basses along with the finest melodies that have the ability to open any door. Once they have reached the Doors of Soul, it was much clearer to see the different reality that they have brought with them. It started to spread all over with bouncy beats that shook the whole construction of the place. Although she has a lot of experience in opening doors, and different sets of keys, Alice realized this was not a Dream. In fact the Alice Dream was so real that she started to get confused and try to find the rabbit hole again. Unfortunately for her, there was no sight for it.

As time moves on, the western world becomes more attached to objects and brands. People consume more things, that they believe bring some kind of symbolic power. Whether it is a new mobile phone, computer and even new cloths from a famous designer – they somehow manage to bring happiness, assurance and a higher self-esteem. Many of these people are not aware of other sources of power, the less physical ones, and yet much more influential, the kinds that bring Active Power to your life – Music.

Shyisma, aka Elia Cantelli, from Italy, decided make it clear, in case some people were lost in translation of the message. He started to build his Progressive Trance Empire more than a decade ago, along with Diego Ferri. They have gone each his own way, while on the way Cantelli became deeply involved in the Italian Trance scene. He is known as a promoter, Dj and even created under different names such as Mittag and Nibiro. After a successful Virus EP at the Iono Music family last year, we had no doubt it would not be the last collaboration.

This time Shyisma took over the Active Power, and made a clear example of how to be empowered by a firm bass line and an enchanting melody. In an era where rational models of actions are appreciated, we learn that being in Complete Control is important to our lives. We are told that through planned time schedules, lists and strategies we will be able to achieve our goals and dreams. We are told that losing our minds or following our emotions is a senseless act that might lead to unwanted results. But what happens when you want to be free from Complete Control?

Side Effects, aka Yarden Yogev & Tzahi Geller, from Israel are perfect for this project. Both of them have started to toy with production about a decade ago, but went professionally about 5 years ago as Geller studied at BPM sound school, and Yogev, worked at various Mix studios.  They decided to take their good long lasting friendship along with their acquired expertise to the next level, and about a year ago formed the Side Effects project.

What might have appeared as minor Side Effects of losing Complete Control, continued into a huge turbulence of electromagnetic fields that started to create unpredictable circumstances. The notorious Night Creatures crept into people's minds, trying to squeeze irrational behaviours that might create Progressive anarchy. Some have started to feel weird sensations which they have interpreted as Paranoia, but it was too soon to tell them that what they have experienced was the reality. After all, reality is what happens when you let go, when you let yourself free from Complete Control.
