Welcome to MODEM 2015! - If you are here already, that is
probably because you are as excited as we are about the next edition!

We have moved the date little from last year to help accommodate more people at an easier time of year, so for 2015 the festival will be held between the 19-24 of AUGUST. Just like every year, we have already been working on the next edition for many months - Managing the logistics of such a demanding site is a very large and complicated job, but we still feel it is one of the most beautiful locations we could ever have for a festival, and continue with our efforts to improve all areas of the site - We want to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible while still maintaining that raw natural feeling of being out in the forest or by the lakes.

This year, we have a special edition and a special reason to celebrate, as we will be hosting the official 15 year birthday of PARVATI RECORDS! - Without going into too much detail now, we can promise a full blown Parvati experience, along with a whole other range of top quality underground psychedelic artists from around the world, just like MODEM has become known and loved for.

News on Presale and Artist line up will be coming soon, but in the meantime, we hope to see you there, and stay tuned!

Bienvenue au MODEM 2015 !

   Si vous lisez cette annonce, alors vous êtes sans doute aussi excités que nous à l'idée de cette prochaine édition.

   Nous avons un peu changé les dates par rapport à l'année précédente afin de mieux vous satisfaire, l'édition 2015 aura lieu du 19 au 24 Aout.

   Comme chaque année, nous travaillons sur cette nouvelle édition depuis plusieurs mois. Gérer la logistique d'un site aussi exigeant est un grand défi, mais nous sommes certains que le lieu est un des plus beaux que l'on puisse trouver pour la tenue d'un festival, et nous continuons nos efforts afin d'améliorer les différentes zones du site. Nous voulons faire en sorte que votre séjour avec nous se déroule dans les meilleures conditions de confort possibles, tout en maintenant le contact brut avec la nature, la forêt et les lacs.

   L'édition de cette année sera particulière, car nous accueillons l'anniversaire officiel des 15 ans de PARVATI RECORDS ! Sans trop entrer dans le détail, nous vous promettons la grosse claque signée Parvati, en parallèle avec une sélection d'artistes psychédéliques underground venus du monde entier, conformément à ce qui a déjà fait la réputation du MoDem.

Oui en plus il est au Lost theory avec Encephalopaticys... J'aurais bien vu aussi Flipknot de Parvati qui était annoncé en 2013 et qui avait disparu du line-up.

Question peut-être un peu bête mais... Vous pensez que le line up avec les jours de passage des artistes sera dispo bien avant le festoche ?

Et aussi, autre truc : j'aimerais vraiment venir, mais ce serait tout seul, et j'ai encore jamais fait ce genre de truc. Et surtout, le boulot qui recommence normalement le lundi 24 dans l'est de la France, donc chaud pour le retour et sans doute louper pas mal d'artistes, peut-être les plus intéressants si ils sont programmés en we ?

Donc voilà, j'hésite un peu..

en général la timetable tu la connais en arrivant au festoch pas avant, mais pour celui là je ne sais pas

rien de différent, les têtes d'affiches passeront le vendredi et samedi (journée trance, soir psyké),,
et aussi le jeudi et le dimanche pour les "secondes têtes d'affiches"
ça dépend donc quels artistes tu aimes

et il ya le birthday du label parvati => 1 soir consacré entièrement aux artistes du label (j'aurais penché pour le samedi, mais comme il n'ya pas atriohm..
re mais comme il ya 14 artistes de chez parvati je parie pour le samedi)

Le truc justement, c'est que je ne sais pas qui est tête d'affiche et qui est seconde tête d'affiche... J'ai bien essayé de faire un classement par nombre d'ébonné Soundcloud mais bon, est-ce pertinent ?

Je commence à fouiller un peu, je connais pas grand monde en fait, à part Spectra Sonics. Mais là, j'ai écouter un peu Bombax et Eat Static et ça me plaît, pareil pour Hellquist, pas mal. Akasha j'aime bien aussi, et Arjuna.. Enfin bref, je suis dans les premières lettres ^^ (et encore, j'ai sauté quelques lignes en faisant le tri par nombre d'abonné Soundcloud).

Et apparemment un autre anniversaire a bien prévu Atriohm ...

ah ben en gros ils sont tous bons !    je veux dire qu'en terme de lineup ils sont soit bons, soit très bons    t'as plus qu'à te fader les soundcloud

sur le psyfloor
si tu aimes la psy forest et de l'est, l'ensemble des artistes chez Parvati rec of course
en darkpsy Orestis, Dark Whisper, Bombax et Will o Wisp
en psy british Chris Rich, Nuky, Parasense, EVp, Dirty Saffi
ya pas mal de français aussi toujours en psy Shotu, Synthetik Chaos, Toto

en incontournable pointure qu'il faut voir au moins une fois Krumelur ("père" du psygressif)

sur l'alternative,, no idea j'en connais aucun

imho les labels ici que je vois Parvati (psy, idm/suomi), Zenon (Psygressif, Psy), 2to6 (Psy) et Peak rec (gros éventail de styles) font mouche à tous les coups,, on peut ne pas aimer le style de certains artistes mais les managers ont l'oreille et les artistes sont toujours de qualité
Loneymoon est bon aussi, mais j'accroche pas du tout le style = > du mal à en parler

Généralement, la timetable est donnée à l'entrée du festival enfin c'était comme ça il y a 2 ans. Le samedi est la soirée réservée aux sons Dark psy et Hi-tech un peu speed (genre : Will o wish).

Alors il y aura une grosse soirée Parvati ? Je pense le vendredi soir, pour placer les 19 artistes Parvati !!!
