THE MOLLUSK - (Omelet - Melbourne) ~ Live
http://soundcloud.com/themollusk/
The Mollusk formula brings together ageless classic sounds with a glitchy, fat, sloppy mid range and rolling bass that has the crowd twirling, playing, spinning and toppling over. "Breaking convention" is the Mollusk's middle name, with his constant array of inventive ways of coming up with new sounds. These include recordings of a spray can underwater, circuit bending toys and wet towels thrown at a brick wall, among hundreds of other hair brain & fun ideas to create sound art. After recording these sounds, a select few are re-worked in the studio to become a bass line, synthesis, percussion and other quirky re-creations.
Mr. Bill ~ (Sydney) ~ Live
http://www.mrbillstunes.com/ http://soundcloud.com/mrbillstunes
This project is based around evocation, I like to write music that excites the ear and the brain. This requires me to explore all sorts of strange production methods and musical theories to keep exciting my senses.
I started writing music in 1996. From 1996 to 2004 I explored all sorts of contemporary music, in 2004 I began using Garageband and exploring electronic music. In 2006 I was introduced to Ableton Live by a friend and since then I have spent most of my time learning more about it and refining my craft to the point it is at now.
People have described the art associated with this project as a distinct brand of 8bit glitchy funk as well as an audiological reflection of our world growing ever more mechanistic which seemingly takes sounds and influences from every aspect of life and a representation of the inner workings of the quantum realm when harvested through concentration and intent.
MERKABA ~ (ZENON - Blue Mountains)
http://soundcloud.com/merkabamusic
From a star system many light years away comes Merkaba, a forward thinking and inspiring light being incarnated into human form in Australia.
Drawing musical influence from fusion jazz, funk, dub step, techno and break beat,
Merkaba skilfully combines these to create his own style of psychedelic progressive trance
and an epic dance floor journey of healing and awakening.
Within realms of twisted delicacy and complexity, spiced and layered with a colour wheel of bold structures. The leading influence of the music dynamically spearheads along a forward-moving groove, and there is so much space between the notes that the invitation to internally engage is simply irresistible. For all the richness in the sound, it is profoundly spare, as well as jam packed with mindful and content.
Merkaba’s unique and organic sound challenges us to awaken to the forgotten ancient tribal spirit hidden in our cellular memory and to the infinite power in all of us.
HYPNAGOG ~ (Melbourne) ~ Live
http://www.soundcloud.com/hypnagog
Hypnagog is a new experiment of Felix Greenlees' (Terrafractyl, Mental Extensions).
After years of writing Psychedelic dance music and experimenting with plenty of other sonic forms, Felix has recently been listening to a lot more downtempo psychedelic breaks, IDM and the like, and felt it was time to try and combine these styles with his own to try and create some kind of hybrid, beat driven yet melodic sound
KALYA SCINTILLA ~ (Aditech - Blue Mountains) ~ Live
http://soundcloud.com/kalyascintilla
Kalya Scintilla is Yaegon Lamagier, A benevolent being incarnate from the star system womp. Drawing inspiration from Nature, Love, tribal energy, healing, sacred geometry, and many other of life's wonders. Yaegon's music is quite unique in style and is definitely an interesting cross over between Dubstep/ Glitch Hop, the seductive sound of the Middle East and traditional Gypsy. His first EP "InLakesh" has been given a warm welcome the world over, and sits near the pinnacle of Addictech.com's 2010 yearly chart.
Dripping molasses over a fractal tabla, a journey through an enchanted forest, the soundtrack to an epic dream scape. A successful attempt to resonate the heavens and earth channeled through sound waves

WEBLET (Adapted / Another Psyde records - Gold Coast) ~ Live
http://soundcloud.com/weblet
Weblet started using the fruities... about 6 years ago until a good mate inspired Him to actually finish a track. So the last 4 years he's been writing beats on and off, plug-in away in the studio to come up with a sound he and the people enjoy. After He got a few releases on local Aussie compilations and tested new tracks at local parties, He really started to get a feel for the sound He wanted to get out there And After Traveling the globe for a year Creating new sounds and idea's along the way He Came up with a more down beat and playful 135-138 bpm style of psy/electro funk'd hybrid gear.

BROKEN XPRESSIONZ (Brisbane)
http://soundcloud.com/broken-xpressionz
In a land ravaged by war, generic bass wobbles and minimal techno, comes the story of two men. One with a deep-seated history in Drum and Bass and break beat music, the other, an extensive knowledge of the psychedelic trance realm. Born from bass and bred to party, the two have combined their forces to create an unstoppable mutating musical barrage of ballsy ballistic broken beats to scourge this generic foe and bring back all things phat, chunky and relentless. In their career defining roles, Tristan Rogers and Scott Neale are… Broken Xpressionz!
