If you haven’t already guessed, this is the last month of the 10th anniversary of Boom Festival. 10 years is a landmark achievement consisting of millions of experiences, thousands of memories and emotions, tons and tons of art exposure, and uncountable hours of fun. And ultimately art has been the key word to making Boom this far. In remembering the last 10 years what comes to mind are the faces of the people that have been participating in Boom – freedom-orientated minds from all over the world. More inspiration to come, straight ahead to 2008!
Recycling Oil: The New Project of Boom 2008
"Your Oil Is Music" is a pioneer project held by the Boom Festival in cooperation with the City Council of Idanha-a-Nova. We've started collecting the vegetable used oil that is being used in the cities and villages around Boom venue. We’ll recycle the oil in about 6,000 houses covering a population of 12,000 people. The oil will fuel the generators of Boom, thus reducing the carbon emission to the atmosphere. Additionally we’re avoiding the used oil to be thrown away - one liter of oil pollutes one million liters of water.
New Year, New Website, New Creative Platforms
On the 1st of January the new version of Boom Festival website will be launched. There’s a whole new way of Boom universes to reveal and a platform for expressing updates, new art and cutting-edge paradigms. One of the novelties is Boom Web TV, a media that will be broadcasting contents unlocked under corporate and mainstream control. It will be a free zone for experimenting, discussing, promoting and enabling in-depth perspectives towards the world.
Ticket Sale Countdown!
The first phase of Boom ticket sale starts on the 8th January to February 20th. Prices will be €95, quite cheaper comparing to the price that will be available at the gates (€160). This phase of the Boom tickets are available exclusively in the Boom website (www.boomfestival.org) as an electronic ticket service. Please check all prices and where to purchase tickets in www.boomfestival.org after 8th January.
Get The Boom Bus
From the 8th January onward you'll be able to get a Boom Bus seat. This charter bus service takes the Boom goers from the main airports around Boom straight to the Boom venue. No queues, no stress, just fun and comfort. The Boom Bus is also a way for you to keep cars away from the festival area. Cars away from the Boom mean less carbon emissions and less pollution for the lake of Idanha-a-Nova.
Artists To Design Boom T-Shirts
Every year Boom has invited different graphic designers to design the print of its t-shirts. For the first time Boom is opening up to everyone the possibility to print their art. Our aim is to reinforce the creative networks that have been developing across Boom. If you want to be a part of it and be the Boom t-shirts official designer contact: tshirt_contest@boomfestival.org. We impose no boundaries for creation! To find out more check www.boomfestival.org.

... donc...De toute manière, une semaine dans n'importe quel camping coûte déjà bien cher... en soi, le boom est cher pour nos piti (viii tout piti) moyens... sinon... c'est quand même une semaine de teuf au soleil, bien accompagné par la zik, la culture, les expos, les rencontres, les baignades et j'en passe

pour les lyonnais : attendre easyjet va mettre en place une ligne lyon lisbonne.... à partir d'avril 2008 => y a bon....

hello ced, suis assez d accord avec toi les prix ce sont vraiment enflamés cette année esperont ne pas etre deçu et que le fameux boom n est pas en train de tomber dans la spirale infernale de l eternel dieux pognon qui pouuris bien des choses................ bonne fetes a tous

Yiihaaa elles sont là, les places sont ds à présent en vente !!! Le soleil, le son, les couleurs et les bonnes vibes se rapprochent encore un peu plus...!!!
Par contre, jsuis allé zieuter sur le site du boom pour la procédure de vente...maaa yé comprend rieng !!

pour ceux qui vont en avion, c'est le retour qui cout très cher, je vois a partir de genève, 55.- l'aller (35e environ) et 255.- le retour... (150e environ)...
et avec easy jet je vous prie... de toute façon on est beaucoup a y aller, donc on va se faire un ptit convoi de camtards loués ou/et pas ... si ça intéresse du monde^^

Billets et autobus
Le billet électronique vous permet de vivre toute l'aventure du Boom Festival facilement, sûrement et simplement.
Les billets électroniques sont imprimables sur papier libre.
Votre billet sera enregistré dans notre base de données informatique. L'organisation du Boom gardera une copie de tous les billets vendus.
Vous devrez juste imprimer votre e-billet et le présenter aux portes du Boom avec votre carte d'identité ou votre passeport.
Vous devez achetez votre e-ticket en utilisant une carte de crédit sur notre compte Pay Pal.
Le système crée alors un billet électronique qui vous est envoyé à l'adresse email que vous fournirez.
Les e-tickets sont disponibles à partir du 9 janvier jusqu'à la fin des préventes.
Nous soulignons que l'e-ticket est à ce stade au meilleur prix (€ 95) pour l'accès complet au Boom Festival 2008 .
L'autobus de l'organisation partira vers le site depuis les aéroports de Lisbonne, Porto et Madrid avec des navettes jusqu'au Boom Festival. Toutes les informations et achats de billet sont disponibles sur le site à partir du 9 janvier.

le top c'est les fruits, y aura ce qu'il faut sur place mais c'est tjrs mieux d'en ramener
