After seeing the tragic effects of the Tsunami in the Indian Ocean, Organic Records have decided to put together a CD compilation with music donated from some top psytrance artists. What started out as a 4 track EP quickly turmed into a 3CD Compilation with top artists from across the scece offering their help and support. All profits will be going towards the the DEC : Disasters Emergency Committee ( www.donate.bt.com/bt_form_dec.htm ) to avoid the possibility of other charities taking comission. We will only take back the money spent on the manufacturing/ promotion etc... because we're not a big company, we don't have the money to donate these costs ourselves... but we are minimising all these costs as much as possible, and again, we are looking for as much co-operation from whoever is involved.. already alot of people involved are helping!! The single will be distributed by Arabesque Distribution who will be doing so commission free, and who will be encouraging parties further down the sales chain to do the same. We're pleased to say that we've had many offers from people across the psytrance scene to help, and are now looking for further trance media and websites to assist with advertising and banner display to promote the compilation.

The more advertising/media we get involved on a donation basis... the more money we can send !! Also we could do with some help distributing flyers and getting some cheap advertising... more people that hear about it and buy it.. more money to sort out fresh water and buy homes for the survivors and victims, etc.We would especially be looking for magazines, e-zines, mailouts, or resource websites. Remember the more exposure we can get, the better we can do

Chris and the Organic Records team called all the top labels & artists with one request- "Please donate your most special track for this cause..." with tremendous unprecedented co-operation from the Electronic Music community, the album has grown to be a massive 3cd set which is an astounding collection of very special music featuring a chill-out CD so exquisite, it will easily rival the top UK sellers. Plus, many of the tracks are as yet unreleased or are in unique mixes.

voila c'etait juste pour dire que le cd est en vente chez psyshop et que c'est 15 euro les 3 cd dont 1 chill ...
et c'est le super bon plan pour ceux qui n'achetent pas souvent des skuds....

j'ai meme pas ecouté vu les noms et je l'ai acheté direct...l'ai recu vendredi dernier..d'la balle...j'espere que celui la pour 3 cds a ce prix..personne ne va le copier a ses potes...

Les tracks sont enchaînés mais pas vraiment mixés, plutôt dans la continuité.
On fait une bonne action et en plus on comble ses lacunes dans des genres pas encore explorés (Je parle pour moi)! C'est pas bien tout ça?!  Smiley
Reçu hier, un package sympa, de la super qualité, des choix musicaux variés, mélodieux et entrainants, un tarif raisonnable, une b.a. réalisée, bref, immanquable.

Ma compil préférée de l'année pour l'instant !

Reçu hier aussi, une superbe compilation en particulier pour le 1er cd qui reprend des gros noms et des gros titres chill out (FSOL Smiley ).
on peu l'acheter uniquement par le site ?, par Paypal ???

Oui, en ambient, un sans faute même si j'ai été etonné de voir "fsol" sur une compil de ce type.

Par ailleurs, le Banco de Gaia est aussi magnifique, le Juno est déja un classique, Gaudi, The orb, Shpongle, Aes Dana, H in dub, kaya project, et j'en passe sont toujours d'une grande richesse...

Le seul et unique bémol (à mon gout) est le titre de safi connection: Vainish..... La version psytrance de Mr vain, j'ai hésité entre mourir de rire ou pleurer de pitié....(même si sur le plan technique, force est d'avouer que ce n'est pas "baclé".....)

Pour le reste, du tout bon !  Smiley
