Texte du single :
Get ready for another "New Order"!
It's been over 2 years since the release of the much talked about "New Order" compilation. Compiled by Yoni Oshrat ( aka ACE VENTURA ) and including tracks by artists like Astrix, Ticon, D-Nox & Beckers, FREq, Wrecked Machines and Ace Ventura himself, it was one of the most used CD's in the arsenal of progressive DJ's that year, and a CD that marked a new direction for HOMmega Records.
Now finally Ace Ventura is once again ready with a new compilation in the series: marking a move towards more techno-influenced sounds, but still with a lineup of the best artists the progressive scene has to offer. As a teaser for the upcoming compilation we are happy to announce a new 3-track digital EP with 3 previously unreleased tunes. Get ready to buy, download, and witness the reaction on the dancefloor straight away.
First up is "MESHUGAIM", a huge techno monster from the Israeli duo Ido Ophir and Miki Litvak, who have impressed everyone high and low over the past few years. They both have a long background in the psychedelic trance scene, in the project Domestic (which Ido Ophir is still running as a solo project), but in the last couple of years they have caught the attention of many of the top DJ's on the progressive and techno world. With releases on labels like Sprout, eVapour8, Iboga, Tribal Vision, Echoes and Noizen, for instance including the monstrous 2008-phenomenon "Shnorkel" , there's no doubt these guys are setting new standards in extremely phat and enormous tunes. Their contribution to the "NO2" EP is yet another one of their trademark earthshaking techno-tunes.
The second track, the progressive house anthem "NO FEAR", is by Riktam and Bansi, who have been two of the most highly profiled artists on the psychedelic trance scene for over a decade, and with their projects Growling Mad Scientists and 1200 Mics they have toured the world again and again. With a total of eight artist albums, their tracks appearing on over 150 releases and more than 200,000 album sales, their studio wizardry is unquestionable. Normally known for a more driving sound, the "Riktam & Bansi" project sees them embark in a different direction, towards a style which encompasses a slower more groove-oriented techno backbone. Their "debut" EP on Plastik Park was already an unquestionable success, and with future releases on Iboga and HOMmega, they surely have a lot to offer the progressive and techno scene in the future. As on the Plastik Park EP their track on "NO2" is a cool fusion of what's great about both progressive house and techno at the moment; bouncy progressive grooves for the dancefloor, and hypnotic, technoid sounds for the connoisseurs.
Last but not least is "ART OFF", a new track from the upcoming Israeli producer A.Balter (Avishay Balter). Already well-known in his homeland as one of the best DJ's as a resident for the leading techno-progressive organization, the "3rd Empire", he is ready to make an impact on the rest of the globe as well. With some already much discussed remixes for BLT and Perfect Stranger released on Iboga Records, he has already caught the attention of DJ's like Armin Van Buuren, Dave Spoon and Adam K and the who's who of the psychedelic progressive scene, and we predict that he has a very bright future ahead of him. Take a listen yourself to his track on "NO2", where he gives yet another taste of his unmistakable talent in making deep and pounding techno.
