[citation]Some of you may have already done this but first make sure in your control panel/system/advance setting under performance, use best performance setting for background services, next I would go under start bar/run and type msconfig.exe and go to last tab and you will see all programs that run at start up. Disable all that you know you do not need, hit apply for next start up. Next go control panel/system/hardware and disable all un-related audio production devices like network cards, printers, modems and maybe usb hubs. And if you have laptop like me then I suggest getting the adaptec duo connect 1422 buscard, this is really the key because it seems that the stock motherboard usb get interrupted easy and recive less bandwidth. With the Adaptec buscard that uses the Texas Instruments chipset really improves the usb connection and worked great for me. If you have a desktop computer maybe try buying usb PCI card to where you can change the lantency settings, because the motherboard usb lantency in most cases can not be changed I found.Last but not lease download powerstrip 3.75 free. This program lets you speak directly to your hardware and lets you change the lantency settings for different hardware devices (changing it in your bios setting will do no good) do not forget to un-check the read only box to make the changes. Mainly you graphics card, by default in most cases it hogs most of your latency at 248, (this is also known to cause pops & clicks in the audio)set this lower to about 96 or 104 and try different latency settings where the usb port that uses the Virus is pluged in at. ce program Powerstrip faisait des miracles parfois avec les setup Creamware...a tester ! [:ckc]
