" The Mad Masters consist of a collective of international artists, using a large range of mediums, and mostly living between Berlin and Paris.
They already built here in Berlin, two exhibitions at the Freies Museum ("Die neuen schönsten Fransozen sind in Berlin", July 2009 & "Les Maîtres Fous", February 2010) and one experimental party week-end at the Tacheles ("Mauerfall Ritual", October 2009) including at every step, new artists, personalities and mediums in their group.
This time, they aim to build up in the space of the Kindl Brauerei a collective installation, using this very particular room as an empty frame where to develop a single art piece, composed of 20 single works and individualities. From live performance to painting, photography, video projection, writing or installation, every aspects will be present in this whole collective art piece.
Working as well with the notion of spaces and times devoted to art exhibition, they will propose for this time, a single day and night of exhibition on the saturday 2nd of October, with an electronic music party follow up from 21h until the next afternoon ; immersing our pieces and the audience into another perception of art institution as well as electronic music culture, and challenging our place within our social environment."
