Aquila are Jonas Dryhoel & Thomas Van Hulle, born and raised in the small town of Waarschoot in Belgium. Due to sharing interests they soon found each other and in 2001 they set up the ‘Mental Gymnastics’ organisation. Organising numerous psychedelic parties in Belgium enabled them to work their way into the Belgian psytrance scene. Their most infamous realisations include a legendary Astral Projection party.
In the meantime Jonas (DJ Bonas) was testing out his mixing skills and the two of them got interested in the production side of the music. Eager to learn more about these possibilities they took part in an electronic music production course organised by the SAE institute in Rotterdam, Holland. Many hours of home production and the acquiring of the right hard- and software followed.
Early 2006 they met with the Dacru guys when they organised the Orientation Vol. 1 release party together. The attention was startled for their music aswell, leading to their participation in the next releases of the Orientation series. After which they joined the Dacru Records label. Following many releases with Dacru and various labels, they released their debut full album ‘Gain Control’ in April of 2009. The album quickly lead to bookings in Japan, Russia and Fusion festival in Germany, while many other countries around Europe had already been visited. Their powerful sound will move dancefloors for many years to come.

Bio
Since DigiCult was founded back in 2003, they have worked their way up to the forefront of the psychedelic movement within the trance scene. Trying to keep the soul within the music whilst their surrounding musical landscape moved to more commercial frontiers. Alpha (Davy Piessens) and Nemesis (Bert De Decker) are to this day set to shine a light in otherwise obscure times. Their style has always been described as deep, intelligent full-on morning, never forgetting the roots from which it all sprung forth.
By 2009 their music was brought to an impressive array of events, and spread on various international labels, while being released on 2 full length albums along the way. Memorable times include their visits to Germany (2x Full Moon festival & 2xSpiritual Healing festival, Fusion Festival), Mexico (New Years festivals in Cancun and Puerto Vallarta, Beat on the Beach festival in Acapulco), Japan (The Gathering, T.P.E.), Brasil (Trancedence festival), Hungary (O.Z.O.R.A. festival), Greece (Aurora festival), Israel (Morisson Drops festival, TFN), Tunisia (Solar Eclipse festival), Ireland (Life festival), USA, Guatemala, Portugal, Russia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Switzerland, France, Sweden, Denmark, UK and many more.
In August 2006 the guys released their debut full album ‘Avenida de Bélgica’ in French label Avigmatic records. It became the blueprint for the unconditional energy in their music, light and very psychedelic in nature. The second full album ‘Out of this World’, takes you to the next level .. space, both in sound and feeling. It was released in march 2008 at dacru records and includes versus tracks with U-Recken and Fatali.
For the future you can expect a very special third digicult full album, in the tradition of the 2 previous ones .. driven, emotive and psychedelic music that can't resist to move you .. both physically and spiritually.

Céline aka DJ LOTUS découvrit la trance en 2001 et en tomba amoureuse immédiatement. En 2005 elle intègre l'organisation de soirées Electro System en tant que DJ, puis récemment le fameux label français Mind Control records. Elle a depuis joué dans de nombreuses soirées aussi bien en France qu'au Japon ou dans d'autres pays du monde. Sa sensibilité féminine apporte à tous ses DJ sets une personnalité et une histoire unique.
