AUDIOMATIC

Looking back on more then one decade of intense involvement in the Trance scene, Benjamin Halfmann aka Audiomatic witnessed the rich evolution of this sub culture with all its innovations, variations and all its ups and downs. Even more: During the years his project constantly gained quality and became a reference for sophisticated, high-functional Progressive Trance. Therefore Audiomatic became an integral ingredient of this scene and has shaped its musical development with his unique sounds which have been part of legendary parties and festivals all around the globe.

It all started with some powerful Heavy Metal: Benjamin Halfmann banged his head to the music of AC/DC and posters of Punk, Hardcore and Metal bands adorned the walls of his room up to the age of 15 years. Then he discovered the fascinating worlds of Psy Trance and rapidly became engaged as a DJ, first public performances followed in 1999.

But soon a strong desire to convert his creativity into own music arose, and so Audiomatic got hungry for more. His producer’s breakfast consisted of some tasty Fruity Loops and this simple production software instantly made him aware that the games on his computer were not only a waste of time, but also of hard disc space.

Not even one year later his music already convinced the label management of Leviathan Music and so the track “Woodstock” became the first official release in 2002. Various contributions on different compilations followed and the year 2004 delivered the first full length Album “Multiplayer”. Together with Stefan “Magnetrixx” Lewin, who has always been a good friend and important source of inspiration for Benjamin Halfmann, the project “Audiomatrixx” was formed, gained euphoric feedback and also brought to life a studio album in 2008. The same year, Audiomatic’s second album was released. Of course this is not the end of his productivity: Dedicating the next work to his fellow citizens in mind, the album “Weekend Society” became another pleasant success in 2011.

SUSPECT ONE

Robert Bucher aka Suspect One from Switzerland is a madly talented newcomer in the Techno & House music scene. Since the first contact with electronic music his heart is beating in the 4/4 rhythm. He found the way to express him self by creating sounds all the way from pumping Minimal/Techno beats up to finest Deep and House Music never without his recognition value. Since 2007 he focused on producing modern electronic music with great passion and found his very own style of bringing techno and house to the next level. With his fresh and dazzling presence he catches ones attention with the first beat and there is no holding back. Cooking crowds – filled dancefloors and finest electronic music. You see that – you found him! Several of Suspect One`s releases have already hit the charts. So stay tuned and don’t get caught.

TAJMAHAL

Tajmahal began his music career in the Factory club 1992, Lyon, and as co-manager of the Kobdo,one of the first techno clubs in Lyon. In 1995, he became a label DJ with the legendary TRANSPACT, and as co-writer with ASIA 2001 .
Nowadays Taj splits his time between chill out and Progressive Morning Trance projects for Ultimae and More psychedelik/full on trance projects for Vaporvent. He is label dj for both labels and also became label manager for Electrik dream in 2005. His first release "Butterfly ritual" on Electrik Dream was on his compilation Cosmik Chill "Red" March 2006. In 2007 he released "Star Circus", his first album for Electrik Dream.

Currently, he is Working on a chill out project "UASCA" in collaboration with Dj Fluxo (Quest4goa-Portugal). They will release the first UASCA album in late 2011. UASCA is a tribal Ambient/Downtempo project, including spiritual chants from Peruvian Ayahuasca priests which were acquired by Tajmahal when he visited them in October 2008. Following the step of Jan Kounen who directed “Other Worlds” documentary expedition with Indians Shipibo from Amazonia.

Tajmahal's style of composition can be seen as a bridge between trance and downtempo rythms. His style is fluid and deep in meaning: his music tells the story of his feelings.

When dj-ing, he combines his spotless technical skills with a broad, eclectic musical knowledge and an immense creativity: he is famous for "telling a story" and taking the crowds every step of the way towards enlightment. This path can encompass different music styles Downtempo-Ambient-Electro- Progressiv, Full on,Psychedelic trance - within the same DJ set: Taj knowns noboundaries in between styles and tempos.

SOOFA

SOOFA is the cohesion of two musical univers; Minimal Techno and Progressive Trance.
Born and grown up in Africa, Sofiane Hamila, 29 years old, is one of the current rising talent who has been sending dance floors into a frenzy with his energy-filled DJ sets full of driving bass lines, acid drenched soaring leads and cheeky samples played around the world !
Based in Lyon - France, SOOFA started in 2010 by mixing differents styles from down-tempo music to psytrance and worked hard to explore thousands of tracks and artists in order to be as complete as possible. Since 2012, after a lot of travels and nice encounters with enthralling personalities, he is a permanent member of french crews Unis Son (Lyon) and AyaAtmaProject (Toulouse) and he's regularly performing with local promoters such as 1001BASS, SUCE MON BEAT, POWOW and WORLD PEOPLE...
